Why do I need an appointment at Princess Bridals to try on wedding gowns?
This is to ensure Princess Bridal’s can offer you a unique and enjoyable shopping experience in an intimate and comfortable setting. Our team of knowledgeable style consultants will assist you in finding not only a dress that fits you, but one that shows your individual personality within your time frame and budget.
How long will my appointment be?
So you can plan, our bridal gown appointments are approximately 90 minutes.
What should I bring to my bridal appointment?
To help us help you, please bring pictures of dresses you’ve seen on our website, in magazines, online or that you’ve tried on elsewhere. Remember to bring an open mind. Don’t be surprised if you find “the dress” on your first visit to Princess Bridals. We have plenty shoes and undergarments for you to use when you try on gowns.
Who should I bring to my appointment?
Please bring your closest friend or family member whose opinion you value and trust. These are people are who should know you well and whom you want to share the experience of buying your wedding gown. Bridal magazine experts advise NOT to bring too many people. The focus should be on you. Bringing more than two others can take the focus off of you.
What size gowns are available for me to try on?
Most of our wedding gown collections are real women sizes from size 0 through size 32. We also carry a large selection of designer Curvy Couture wedding dresses.
May I take pictures of the gowns I try on?
Our designers do not allow cameras in the boutique while you are shopping. Once you have purchased your dress, you may take as many pictures as you would like to commemorate your most special day.
When should I order my veil and headpiece?
Special-order designer veils have a 6 to 8 months lead-time, so making a decision at the time you order your gown is desirable. If you need to at your first fitting, you can order a custom veil which we’ll make for you on premise.
Absolutely! Most brides find their dress on their first visit to Princess Bridals. They also find all their accessories (veils, headpieces, shoes, jewelry etc) on their first visit.
Do I need to make an appointment to look at jewelry?
You may walk in at any time to look at jewelry during regular hours Monday-Friday. Appointments are required on Saturdays and Sundays. Appointments are required for all veils and headpieces on any day of the week.
Does Princess Bridals offer shoes?
Princess Bridals is proud to offer thousands of styles of bridal and social occasion shoes.
How far in advanced do I need to buy my gown?
We recommend, as does Brides Magazine and others, anywhere between 10-12 months.
What is a special order gown?
Most of the wedding gowns we sell are special-order. A special-order gown is made specifically for you by a designer, based on the measurements we take from you, the designer then uses their pattern that is closest to your measurements to create your gown. We then fit it to perfection for your body.
Can I get a swatch of color from my gown?
Princess Bridals will be happy to take a small sample from your actual dress when it arrives from the designer; as dye lots vary widely, this will give you the best color to use for matching.
